Scottish Wedding Stationery FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)-

Q- How do I place a stationery order ?

 

If you see a design on the website and you would like to order, please contact the designer Fiona at the studio or email her. Alternatively you could fill in the enquiry form to relay your details, or make an appointment to visit the studio.

Q- What is your Minimum Order ?

 

Our minimum order for wedding stationery is £50. For one-off cards such as birthdays or anniversaries the minimum order is £10.

Q- WHEN should I place my order ?

 

Preferably at least six to twleve months in advance. This allows us time to source specific materials for your job. If you are running out of time, always phone the studio and we will do our very best to meet your deadline.

Q- Do you need a deposit ?

 

A £100 deposit secures your order in the studio diary.

 

Q- When should I pay for my stationery ?

 

The balance on invitation and RSVPS is due when these goods are ready for collection or despatch. The outstanding balance on all other items is due one month before your wedding date, unless cash is paid on uplift.

Q- How can I pay for my stationery ?

 

You can pay by cheque made payable to 'Paper Blossom' or by cash in person at the studio. At present we can only accept payment from United Kingdom customers.

Q- When should I post out my wedding invitations ?

 

Wedding Invitations should be posted at around 8-10 weeks before your wedding. Please take this into account when ordering your wedding stationery.

Q- Are different fonts or lettering styles available ?

 

Yes, of course. We can send you a sample sheet of our most popular fonts.

Paper Blossom was set up by Fiona McCay, a qualified textile designer, in 2002. Operating initially from a base in Edinburgh, Fiona moved to Lanark in 2003, and converted a victorian laundry room into a design studio. The studio is within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh, based in central scotland, UK.
